Our Story
A health nonprofit built by scientists and neighbors.
ACDC was founded in early 2026 by clinicians, public-health advocates, and community organizers who kept running into the same gap in Utah: trusted health knowledge and cultural support were hardest to reach for the immigrant and underserved families who needed them most.
We exist to close that gap. Our work brings health, education, and cultural belonging directly to the community: free screenings, hands-on CPR and first-aid training, plain-language health education, and cultural programs that help immigrant and underserved families feel at home in Utah.
When we invest in each other's health, whole neighborhoods change. That's not a slogan. It's the work.
From the founding charter
Based in Murray, Utah, we serve Salt Lake County and the Wasatch Front. Through targeted partnerships, we also support underserved communities internationally and in disaster response.
